At the end of April Sarah entered the Fabric8 contest run by Spoonflower (a well known US based digital textile printing business). The winner of this contest will receive a contract with Robert Kaufman Fabrics to release a fabric collection with them. The theme for entries was “geek chic” and over 750 people entered the competition. Sarah’s design was chosen by the judges from Spoonflower and Robert Kaufmann to go through as one of the top 100. The public voted on for their favourites and Sarah’s design has made to though to the finals!
Sarah and the other 7 finalists all then had to create an additional 3 designs to form their collections which are now up on Spoonflower for the final public vote. Voting ends on 12th June at 12 noon EST.
